Dawam Medical Training staff members Mr. Kenneth D'Alessandro and Mr. Mohamed Elsharayri attended the first Regional Emergency Medical Services Conference and Exhibition sponsored by the National Emergency Medical Technicians Association (NEMA) and the National Ambulance Service of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Mr. Kenneth D'Alessandro was a co-chair of the conference and serves as the educational coordinator for the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians in the Middle East. Mr. Mohamed Elsharayri is a regional faculty member in military and civilian programs and in the Tactical Combat Casualty Care and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care courses. Representatives from across the Middle East and the United States attended the conference and discussed current issues in emergency medical services and ways to improve and provide them. Saudi Arabia is one of the locations being considered for next year's 2024 meetings.
