If you are a leading a multi-day tour through the wilderness, this course is for you! With a focus on injuries sustained in wilderness environments, this course will specifically address Animal bites, impaled objects, open wounds, gunshot wounds, Head injuries from fall, poisonings, snake and reptile bites, insect stings and spider bites. With an in-depth look at the use of tourniquets, splinting, wound care, burn care and extremity injuries, you will be prepared to take care of your clients with confidence. You will be trained to care for the sick and injured for an extended period of time.
