This program aims to provide basic knowledge and clarify the following concepts related to : Naturally occurring radioactive materials (NORM): The origin and types of NORM in oil and gas, aspects of radiation protection in NORM, measure and detect radiation, legal, regulatory and training responsibilities, monitor radiation in the workplace, personal protective equipment, analytical aspects of NORM and norm waste, decontamination related to the NORM, management of radioactive waste resulting from the NORM
