Staff members Kenneth D’Alessandro and Mohammed Alshariri attended the first Middle East Regional EMS EXPO sponsored by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians and the National Ambulance of UAE. Kenneth was cochair of the conference as he serves as the Middle East Education Coordinator for NAEMT. Mohammed is a regional Affiliate Faculty for the military and civilian programs Tactical Combat Causality Care and Tactical Emergency Causality Care. The conference was attended by representatives from across the Middle East and the Unites States and discussed current issues in EMS education and provision. Saudi Arabia is one of the sites being considered for the 2024 meetings.
